Downtime is generally minimal. Mild redness, sensitivity, dryness or light flaking may occur in the days following treatment. Your skin may also feel slightly tighter than usual while it recovers.

No. Your skin, medical history, current skincare, medications and treatment goals will be assessed before treatment. If your skin barrier is compromised or another skin condition is present, an alternative treatment may be recommended first.

You may be advised to temporarily stop certain active skincare products before your appointment. Avoid excessive sun exposure and let us know about any medications, recent procedures or changes to your skin. Individual preparation instructions will be provided where required.

Keep your skincare gentle while the skin recovers and avoid picking or exfoliating any areas of dryness or flaking. Certain active ingredients may need to be temporarily avoided. Daily broad-spectrum SPF is essential, and personalised aftercare will be provided. You will be sent home with aftercare products to use post treatment.
